Change with a capital”C”

Today I have done some pensive thinking about change and there is a lot. We personally know people who have switched jobs several times; people who have added to their families by having babies; moved to new houses and neighborhoods; started new businesses; working moms embracing new work-remote positions balancing a lot more; saying goodbye to loved ones from afar and families all adjusted with new schedules and more home bound roles. More hand-washing; more daily wipe downs and masks haven’t become a wierd “terroist-type” or “hitman” thing anymore.

If 2020 is the year marked by Change with a Capital “c”. Has it been something that has been forthcoming, perhaps so…I have personally benefited from the change realizing my health is foremost and that my children are actually little people worth knowing and having conversations with as they teach you things from their perspectives.

It hasn’t been easy to admit to myself all of this but when you think about the choices you make when you aren’t given choices-you gradually accept it and look for the rainbow on the horizon.

What is the change that has been most impactful for you as you see the year come to an end? Anything that you have learnt being home bound?
